Staffing & Employment

All staff are vetted in accordance with OFSTED and national standards. Care and Management Services are entirely committed to the supervision and development of our staff. As an accredited City and Guilds Assessment Centre we are able to facilitate staff achieving  QCF’s (NVQʼs) in accordance with the National Minimum Standards.

Staff recruited come from a variety of disciplines and whilst this is important their personal qualities have a large influence upon their appointment. Staff who are tolerant and patient with good interpersonal skills and the ability to set limits are likely to provide the backdrop for the care our children and young people require.

On occasions we will be recruiting such workers, and we are always very pleased to receive applications which will be kept until such time as the next recruitment process is under way.

Some of the training courses we offer our staff:

  • Fire Safety
  • Basic Food Hygiene
  • Care of Medicines
  • Appointed Persons First Aid
  • Physical Intervention (PRICE)
  • Safeguarding
  • Supervision
  • Health & Safety
  • Manual Handling
  • Induction Training
